2016 Stream Partners Grant

At our first Board Meeting of 2016 on January 27,  WSWA was presented a check for $4920 by Alana Hartman, Basin Coordinator for the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, for our 2016 Stream Partners Grant. The funds will be used to create a rain garden in Greenway Cemetery in an area that is unoccupied by any grave sites-and unsuitable for future burials because of its risk of flooding. Working with "One Watershed"

by Jeff Iilif: A level-3 stream survey was preformed starting at 10 am on July 14 by the Warm Springs Watershed Association for Warm Springs Run just behind the Board of Education building.

Award for response/cleanup of Oct 2014 heating oil spill

Our New Logo

Many thanks to Chuck Benson for creating our new logo last spring.   He is Jeff Hankey's father-in-law.  He was very patient with our reviews of his scores of offerings and the final version was a final edit of the previoius final design!
