An appreciation dinner for the volunteer efforts of Norman Dean was held at Angus and Ale last Wednesday, Dec 5. Many friends and associates spoke of his long term commitment to the environment, his knowledge of plants and watersheds, patience in working with others, stream monitoring expertise, friendliness and good nature.
Plaques were presented from WV Governor Jim Justice, WV DEP and a combined one from WSWA and SCWA.
Speaking in appreciation of his work for many years were Rebecca McCloud, Bob Meadows, Alana Hartman, Kate Lehman, Phyllis Hagstad, Dawn White, Chuck Marsh. Jeff was the host and the event was planned by the watershed associations of Sleepy Creek and Warm Springs and the Morgan County Master Garderners.

Jeff Iliff, a prominent member of WSWA, shot a lot of video at our Hugelkultur installation at Greenway Cemetary last Sep 11 and has released this production after many hours of effort. Please enjoy!
Nice work, Jeff. Here's the URL:
