The 45 trees ordered by 12 residential property owners in Morgan County and the Sheetz Corp. were distributed yesterday, April 6, after a demonstration planting led by Zach Norris of the Cacapon Institute who organized this overall BMP project for the Eastern Panhandle. Participants then helped plant the 11 remaining trees on the Sheetz hillside site.
Thank you all for helping us "keep green". We gratefully appreciate the guidance and active support of the Cacapon Institute, one of six national winners of the Arbor Day Award in 2018, for its help in this work regarding tree planting, conservation and stewardship. Also of note, the Town of Bath has been a Tree City USA Community award winner for the last 11 years.
